Description
High quality grade 316 Stainless Steel thrust bearing hinge recommended for use with external applications including those in coastal area as well as use with acidic timbers. Hinge incorporates thrust bearings as well as phosphor bronze washers rather than ball bearings making it self-lubricating and maintenance free. Unlike many other hinges on the market this product will not “Tea Stain†due to the high quality of the materials used. Hinge complies with BS EN 1935:2002 Grade 13 and is suitable for doors up to 160kg (with 3 hinges) as well as being tested to 200,000 cycles. Hinge also tested to BS EN 1634-1:2000 and is fire tested to FD60 on timber Timber and FD240 on Steel application. Also complies with Certifire CF336 and is CE marked.
