Description
For inward opening doors. Under door clearance 12mm. Suitable for moderate exposure. Ideal for double doors. Accepts MWK striker block for flush bolts in double doors.
Fitting Instructions:
Remove rubber seals from the aluminium sill section. Check width between the inside faces of the door frame rebate and cut aluminium section to this size.
Cut the rubber seals 10mm longer than the aluminium and reinsert into the grooves in sill.
Notch both ends of sill and allow it to fit into the door frame rebate. When the door is in the closed position the front seal should be compressed by approximately 3mm. Notch sill to allow for this.
This sill requires an under door clearance of 14mm. If necessary, remove door and trim to allow for this, ensuring bottom of the door is smooth to avoid damage to rubber seals.
Position the assembled sill between the door frame and the mark fixing points through countersunk holes. Remove sill, drill fixing holes and insert plugs.
Apply sealing compound to underside of sill and where sill comes into contact with the door frame. Screw sill into place.
